International students
International student admission
The application process for international students is almost the same as it for domestic students, but there are some differences including a requirement to submit proof of English proficiency. Check out our resources below to get the details on English language proficiency and academic requirements for international students, and submit your application to Arizona State University.
Study from anywhere in the world
ASU consists of learners from locations across the globe, including nearly 1,000 foreign national students enrolled from abroad. ASU Online typically considers any foreign national enrolled from abroad to be an international student. However, those with foreign credentials, regardless of location or citizenship, may also be required to submit translated transcripts or proof of English proficiency.
International students include transfer and first-year students, and those pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees.

See what other international students are saying
My journey at ASU was a challenging yet enjoyable experience. I had to balance a full-time graduate school schedule and a full-time job. With the flexibility of the program in terms of course design, delivery and presentation, along with the immense support from ASU faculty and the Al Ghurair Foundation for Education (AGFE) team, it was all possible. The best learning experience I’ve ever had, hands down.
